Book Pricing:
Publisher set any price for the version of your e-Book. When we publish to the iBookstore, Kindle we'll automatically round your price to the nearest valid e-book store pricing tier.
Apple's pricing guidelines vary by country. On the U.S. iBookstore,Kindle the price must end in $.99, and cannot exceed $99.99.
All eBooks submitted for iBookstore,Kindle store distribution must comply with these pricing guidelines.
How Much Publisher Make:
At Apple store:
Apple retains 30% of all revenue from sales on the iBookstore. The publisher receives 80% of the remaining revenue and Pinnacle receives 20%. So, when an eBook sells for $19.99 on the iBookstore, the publisher receives 56%, or $11.20.
At Kindle store
The 70% Royalty Option is only applicable to sales to customers of the 70% Territories listed below. We may add 70% Territories from time-to-time by updating this Pricing page. If you choose this option, the Royalty on sales to customers of other territories will be as provided under the 35% Royalty Option.
The 35% Royalty Option for your Digital Book, you must set and adjust from time-to-time as necessary the Digital Book's List Price so that the List Price, plus 15% (the statutory Luxembourg VAT rate) for sales to UK customers, is no higher than any of the following:
Who will pay Publisher:
Pinnacle will pay all publishers directly, via check or Paypal. Apple aggregators are paid within 45 days of a sale on the iBookstore. Pinnacle, in turn, will remit payment to publishers within 30 days of receiving payment from Apple. All payments are made in U.S. dollars.
Reporting:
Yes. Sales transactions and revenue are reported to publisher.
Contract:
Publishers only need to sign contracts with Pinnacle.
As a certified aggregator, Pinnacle maintains a separate agreement with Apple/Amazon.
